The company started in Sweden in 1975 when I was offered a job at the Danish company Tectum, to sell stable buildings and stable fittings. Sales went pretty well from the beginning but still a bit sluggish in my opinion.

I discovered a new product to sell by several farmers asking if we could build machine halls. A farmer suggested that we could increase the wall height of a slaughterhouse that could then become a good machine hall. Said and done. We built a machine hall in this way and it turned out well. I took pictures of the machine hall and placed an ad in the agricultural press. The interest was great and we received many inquiries because there was a very great need for machine halls in agriculture. The sale started and I quickly sold a lot of halls.

Sales of stable buildings and stable fittings were phased out and I invested in machine halls. It went well and I only had little competition from other companies for several years. Other companies eventually discovered that machine halls were a good product, but by then Tectum was already an established company. The connection to the Danish Tectum disappeared in 1982.

Tectum's goal throughout the years has been to be a committed partner throughout the construction process. Well-thought-out construction, high-quality materials, well-done work and competitive prices will characterize Tectum's buildings.

Customers should feel that they have bought well-functioning buildings and be satisfied with their choice of Tectum as a supplier.

At Tectum, we now have 20 employees and have since the start delivered approximately 5 000 buildings.
