Sanol AB has a long and successful history spanning over 30 years. The company gained international recognition in the 1980s and 1990s with its "Sanol System", which was exported globally to quickly manufacture bilges in the event of environmental disasters. During the 21st century, the focus shifted to sustainability and industry-adapted products, which drove innovation. In 2005, the ownership changed and led to updated, more efficient products as well as an expansion in the consumer market, where "Kölsvinskôrven®" became a popular environmental product for recreational boats.
